Beef and Bean Chili
I created this chili recipe just for my kids! It's not too spicy, and includes beef (or substitute turkey), beans, garlic and onions. Serve with a salad and gluten free cornbread for a well-rounded meal.
Brussels Sprouts
Brussels sprouts - so good for you! I wish my kids loved them. I found this recipe from Giada Laurentils a few years ago. It's my go-to recipe for sprouts. At first, I asked my kids to eat just one. Then I asked them to eat just 3. Repeat the trial process over and over, and eventually your kids will develop the palate for this vegetable.
Kale Chips
I am so excited to say that one of my kids loves kale chips, and the other one will "tolerate" them! Kale is so nutrient dense, I serve these once a week! Eaten right out of the oven, they just melt in your mouth!
Take-out Style Fried Rice
We love Chinese food, but I can do without the added MSG and unhealthy oils. This recipe is from my mother, and it's always a favorite side dish in my house. Make it with or without a meat/protein, and pair with a vegetable or salad for a complete meal.
All Purpose Cleaner
Don't spend money on expensive cleaners that are toxic to your health! I have been making my own cleaners for more than 10 years. Here are two of my favorites!
